To garner an insight into daily life in the company, we’ve decided to get to have a quick chat with Rebecca – Workforce Systems Controller about life at Diplomatik.

Here’s what she had to say:

What is it about Diplomatik and the position that attracted you?

I like that it’s a business that is rapidly growing and changing to suit the needs of its suppliers and clients.

What does an average day look like in your role?

On average I work on adding candidates to our agency’s talent pools. I help with managing their candidate’s compliance and I work on adding our interstate suppliers timesheets to the system, which helps with reporting.

I am now working closely with our suppliers to deliver candidates to one of our major clients; this includes resume assessment, ensuring compliance and mobilisation on behalf of the client.

What were you doing before you made it to Diplomatik?

I was working at a recruitment agency, managing their reception and all their social media platforms. I also worked side by side with the recruiters and took on all their recruitment administration.

How would you describe Diplomatik’s work culture?

I feel as though the culture here is very supportive, we all work together and try and help each other as much as possible. I also work with a great team which helps a lot!

If you could summarise Diplomatik’s core offering, what would it sound like?

We help make life easier for our suppliers and clients who use our system. Some of our features include timesheet management, talent pools, reporting and candidate compliance. We also make recruiting easier for suppliers and clients, having it all available in the one portal.

Where is Diplomatik right now, and where do you see it in 24 months time?

Well like I said it is constantly growing, so the possibilities are endless! I see it growing into a more recruiter friendly system, with lots of new features to help our suppliers and clients even more.

What goal or aspiration do you have for the next year?

I’d love to be more involved in training our clients and suppliers in using the system.

What is it that you feel you bring to Diplomatik and its clients?

Besides my friendly personality, being new to the company I can provide fresh eyes and a different outlook. I’d also love to share my skills in digital marketing and become involved in training and sales.

What is your favourite thing/s outside work?

I love to get cozy on the couch and binge watch a good Netflix series, but besides that I enjoy the company of my friends, family and of course fur babies.

Are there any more company updates you can share?

We are always looking for improvements in our business and our system to make the lives of our clients and suppliers easier, we have some great new features coming to the system very soon that will definitely enable this.
